Defuse the Bomb! How do you work under pressure?
There has been a recent theft at a local U.S. Army base, including two chemical bombs. As agents in the Department of Homeland Security, you have received a tip from a familiar source known only as “The Chemist”. Extensive research and valuable intel has led you to “The Chemist’s” laboratory. Upon entry, the door is sealed behind you and the entire room is wired to blow. Not only must you Escape, but you must Defuse the Bomb first!
Can You Escape In Time?
Get your friends, family and co-workers together! We also do birthday parties and corporate events. Flying solo or can’t fill a room? That’s fine! Part of the fun is working with others.
Each game lasts exactly 60 minutes. If you get stuck at any point, our staff will be on hand to lend a clue and keep you on track. Think you can Escape quick enough to join our leader board?
Solve the Puzzles
Each room has a unique set of puzzles. Find clues and hints inside the room to solve the puzzles and Escape! Things are not always as they seem, so be prepared to think outside the box.
YES! You don’t need to be Einstein to Escape. Our puzzles are designed for a variety of skill sets. Teamwork tends to be the best solution.

Thank you! We had so much fun last night defusing the bomb. It was really fun! Your staff is fantastic, very friendly, helpful and informative. We can’t wait to book another room. I couldn’t believe how elaborate the design of the room was; I truly think this made the experience better. The fact that we were in a room but it looked like we were somewhere else was great. It was a great way to spend a Saturday night. Thanks so much for a great time!Christine
My family visited Granite State Escape today. Our ages are 48-13 years old. We did the bomb room. It was something different to do on Memorial Day weekend. We really loved it. Katie was our worker along with two young men. The three of them were very pleasant. We are looking forward to the Circus room.Stephanie
We visited on 01 May not knowing what to expect for “Diffuse the bomb”. It ended up being great fun for all of us (five teens, one adult) working together for a solution. The clues were good, made us stop and think, and if you find them out of order they don’t really make sense until you complete the one preceding it. Great fun and we are planning on doing another event.Joshua

What Is an Escape Room?
Frequently Asked Questions
So you lock us in a room?
How do I get out?
Simple, either find the clues and solve the puzzles to Escape, or run out of time.
Do I have to book the whole room?
No. If you don’t book the whole room you will most likely be paired with another group of participants. The maximum capacity of “Escape from Jail” and “Defuse The Bomb” is 6 and “Escape from the Funeral Parlor” is 10.
Am I smart enough?
No. Just kidding! Well, I don’t know, maybe? It doesn’t take any special skill set or knowledge to solve the puzzles. At the end of the day it is all about having fun!
What is the secret to Escaping?
There is no secret. Generally participants who communicate well with one another and work together do the best. That isn’t always the case though.
Is there an age limit?
We ask all our participants to be at least 15 years old. If someone is under 15, we ask for a parent or guardian to be present and that your party reserve the entire room.
Where are you located?
We are located at 245 Maple Street Unit 5 in Manchester, NH across from historic Gill Stadium.
When do we need to arrive?
All of our games begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to hear the required instruction. Participants who arrive after their scheduled time will not be allowed in.
What should I bring?
Just yourself! No cell phones or electronics are allowed inside the rooms, but we provide an area for you to store your gear. Store at your own risk!
